1. The particle size of the beneficiation shall be well controlled. The suitable particle size range is 0.074~0.01mm. Coarse concentrate larger than 0.074mm is difficult to wash, which affects the separation effect; However, too much fine mud less than 0.010mm is unfavorable for sorting, and it should be deslimed in advance when there is too much mud.
2. The ore feeding volume shall be appropriate. Because the feed volume directly determines the slurry flow rate and flow film thickness, the feed volume increases, the equipment processing capacity increases, and the concentrate grade increases, but the concentrate yield and recovery rate decrease. If the feed volume is too large, there will be no concentrate; When separating hematite ore, the ore feeding volume should be controlled within the thickness of flow film less than 0.7mm.
3. The feed concentration shall be appropriate. The higher the feed concentration is, the greater the viscosity of the pulp is, and the lower the fluidity of the pulp is. At this time, the tailings amount is small and the concentrate amount is large, but the concentrate grade is low. Excessive feed concentration will make it difficult to conduct layering, or even separation. The appropriate value of ore feeding concentration is related to the length and gradient of the drum. When selecting hematite ore, 400mm × 300mm、800mm × 600mm and 1600mm × The suitable feed concentration of the three 900 mm centrifugal concentrators is 8%, 16% and 24% respectively.
4. Prevent the feed nozzle and ore washing nozzle from being blocked, and regularly check whether the action of the control mechanism is flexible, whether the ore separation, ore breaking, flushing and ore discharging are coordinated accurately, and timely stop for maintenance when problems are found.
