The shaking table is a gravity separator, mainly used to screen the minerals gold, tungsten, tin-tantalum, niobium, chromium and other non-ferrous, rare and precious metal ores, and can also be used to separate iron, manganese ores and coal.

How the shaking table works: the pulp is sent into the feeding tank, and at the same time, water is added to prepare the pulp with a concentration of about 25% to 30%, and it automatically flows to the bed surface. Shaking produces loose, layered layers. After stratification, the ore particles in the upper and lower layers move in different directions under the action of different sizes of water flow pressure and bed surface friction.

 

The structure of the shaking table: The shaker table is mainly composed of three parts: the bed surface, the frame and the transmission mechanism. The bed surface is approximately trapezoidal or rhombus-shaped, with an inclination of 1 to 5d in the lateral direction, and the feeding trough and the water feeding trough are arranged above the inclination. The bed surface is longitudinally arranged with bed strips (commonly known as re-plex strips). The whole bed is supported by the frame (if it is a suspended shaker, the bed is lifted), and a slope adjustment device is installed on the frame. A transmission device is arranged at one end of the longitudinal length of the bed close to the feeding trough, which drives the bed surface to reciprocate asymmetrically. This kind of movement makes the bed surface have the characteristics of rapid return movement when it advances to the end, that is, the so-called differential movement. The light mineral particles in the upper layer are pushed by more hydraulic force, so they move more along the lateral inclined direction of the bed surface, so the bottom side of the lateral inclined surface is called the tailings side. The heavy mineral particles at the bottom of the bed are directly driven by the differential motion of the bed surface, and the particle group spreads out diagonally from the feed trough in a fan shape. The products are discharged along the edge of the bed surface, and the discharge line is very long, so the shaker can produce a variety of products with different qualities.
