GT60 Gemini Shaking Table: High-Efficiency Gravity Concentration for Fine Minerals

Industry News – As the global mining sector intensifies its focus on sustainable practices and the recovery of fine-grained precious metals, the GT60 Gemini Shaking Table has emerged as a preferred solution for small-to-medium scale operations. Designed for high enrichment ratios without the use of chemicals, this compact gravity separator is gaining traction across gold, tantalum, tin, and tungsten processing circuits worldwide.

Dual Decks, Double Recovery

Unlike conventional single-deck shaking tables, the GT60 integrates two independent concentrating surfaces onto a single drive frame. Powered by a shared eccentric linkage system, both decks execute an asymmetric reciprocating motion, allowing mineral particles to stratify by specific gravity under the combined influence of longitudinal vibration and lateral wash water.

This "twin-deck" configuration effectively doubles the processing footprint without increasing the equipment's floor space. It is particularly effective for particle sizes ranging from 0.03 mm to 2 mm, making it ideal for scavenging fines that are often lost in sluices or centrifugal concentrators. Operators report that the final concentrate is often of smelt-grade purity, significantly boosting overall plant yield.

The unit’s modular design allows for quick deck changes between PP and stainless steel, catering to different ore abrasiveness and chemical environments.

Eco-Friendly and Cost-Effective Operations

In an era of stringent environmental regulations, the GT60 offers a significant advantage: zero chemical consumption. By relying purely on gravity separation, operators eliminate the costs and liabilities associated with mercury, cyanide, or flotation reagents.

Coupled with its low 0.75 kW power draw, the operational expenditure (OpEx) remains minimal. Maintenance is largely limited to routine checks of the spring assemblies and lubrication of the drive mechanism, ensuring a rapid return on investment (ROI), often within months for high-grade artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) operations.
