圆筒筛广泛用于砂金选矿筛分、分级清洗砂矿。工作原理是通过沿轴心转动，并利用角度（6°-12°）使物料在筛筒内（透筛）向前运动。筒体由编织网或钢板穿孔制成，筒体由电机带动传动系统旋转，常用于洗矿，洗砂，分级，脱泥等。
Rotary screen is widely used for alluvial gold sieving and graded washing. It working principle is to enable the materials inside screen drum (passage) to move forward through the rotation around axis and the angles (6°-12°). The drum body is made of mesh grid or perforated steel plate. The motor drives the transmission system to rotate. This drum is frequently used for ore washing, sand washing, grading and desliming etc.
